Some of the signs that your pet may need urgent medical attention include:

• Difficulty breathing
• Ingestion of a toxic substance or foreign object  
• Broken bones
• Cuts, lacerations or puncture wounds
• Vomiting or diarrhea lasting longer than 24 hours

This allows us to assess the situation, provide first aid instructions over the phone, and prepare for your pet’s arrival. Of course, should the nature of your pet’s emergency be too urgent for a phone call, do not hesitate to come directly to the clinic for immediate attention.
