Nikkie
Office Manager
Nikkie has been with the WellPet Group since the very beginning, in 2011. She has been instrumental in growing the practice into what it is today. When she isn’t busy being the office manager, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.
Taylor
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Taylor is a Blue Ridge Community College graduate and has been a Veterinary Technician at the WellPet Group for over 10 years. She enjoys riding her horse Ben, camping with her German Shepherd Delphi, and spending her spare time at the lake.
Kelly
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Kelly received her Veterinary Technician degree from Blue Ridge Community College in 2003, and has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She spends her free time reading mystery novels, spending time with family, and spoiling her four-legged kids.
Ashley
Certified Veterinary Assistant
Ashley started with the WellPet Group in January of 2018. She assists with surgeries and other medical procedures. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, going hiking, and reading.
Emily
Veterinary Assistant
Emily has been with the WellPet Group for several years, and she is currently going to college to become a registered nurse. In her free time she likes to hike with her dog and take rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Haley
Veterinary Assistant
Haley is one of our newer employees. She plans on studying at Blue Ridge Community College in the fall, where she will enter into their Veterinary Technician Program. In her free time she likes to play slow-pitch softball and spend time with her dogs.
Angie
Veterinary Assistant
Although she is new to WellPet, Angie has worked in animal health care for the last 5 years. Animals are her passion, and she has worked with all types including house-pets, livestock, and exotics. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children, riding 4-wheelers with her Bull Mastiff “Diesel”, and gardening.
Trinity
DVM Student
Trinity has worked with the WellPet Group since 2018. She is currently pursuing a career as a veterinarian and is attending Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She lives outside of Lexington on a large family farm, along with her nine siblings.
Michaela
DVM Student
Michaela is new to WellPet as of March 2023. Her passion is working with animals and she will be attending the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in the fall. When she has free time, she likes to spend it with her horses Nabisco and Cinnamon Styx, or reading books.
Heather
Client Communications
Heather has been with The WellPet Group since 2018. When she’s not busy with our online pharmacies, email correspondence or helping to meet our clients’ needs she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and cat Smokeigh.
Carrie
Receptionist
Carrie has always loved animals, and growing up she knew she wanted to help care for them. When she isn’t working she is either hand-making jewelry, hiking, or hanging out watching movies, anything Disney or Pixar.
Meredith
Receptionist
Meredith started working for us in July 2021. In her spare time she helps on her family’s cattle and crop farm. She loves to ride her horse, read, help her daughter with her horse training business, and care for her 7 dogs.
Georgia
Receptionist
Georgia is Dr. Logan’s youngest daughter. The family love of animals was instilled in her at a young age, and it was a no brainer for her when our receptionists needed help. When she isn’t in the office Georgia is busy enjoying time with her son, and reading.
